Nach schwerer Krankheit ist er in der Nacht zum 9. Mai 2018 verstorben.
Er war jahrelang ein engagierter Vereinsvorsitzender, Polizeigewerkschafter und zu letzt noch Kommunalpolitiker in Reinickendorf.
Die Gedanken des Vereines sind bei seiner Familie und den Hinterbliebenen.
